II.                  DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING AN Interagency Agreement between Harris County, the City of Bunker Hill Village, and the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO), Texas, for the improvements on Memorial Drive from Strey Lane to Clarendon and Knipp to Briarforest under the Multi-Cities Program for a total METRO commitment of $1,372,100 toward the design and construction costs of the Project.

Mayor Pro Tem Ellis explained that this interagency agreement pertains to the Memorial Drive project and not the Bunker Hill Road project as we were to get funding for this project first.

City Administrator Sager stated that if the City of Houston handles the Memorial Drive Project, the City of Bunker Hill Village will reimburse the City of Houston.  Upon inquiry from the council, she further stated that we can use the money to extend the sidewalk in front of City Hall if there are surplus funds, as long as we get approval from Metro.

Motion was made by Councilmember Belco and seconded by Councilman Tuters to approve the Interagency Agreement.

Motion carried 4 to 0.

Motion was made by Councilman Ellis and seconded by Councilmember Buckley to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried 4 to 0 and the meeting was adjourned at 11:00 a.m.
