MINUTES OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION August 6, 20075:30 P.M. I. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL. Vice Chairman Bob Croyle called the City of Bunker Hill Village Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 6, 2007 in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 11977 Memorial Drive. Members Present: Bob Croyle, Gary Orr, Jackie Lammert, Cooky Mays and Al Augustine. Absent: Bill Purifoy. Paul Addington has moved from Bunker Hill Village and resigned from the Commission, effective July 31, 2007. City Officials Present: Director of Public Works Steve Smith and City Administrator Ruthie Sager. Others Present: Nancy Ames & Danny Ward – 11635 Blalock Lane Roger Fowler – 11634 Blalock Lane Justine Hirschbuehler – 11630 Blalock Lane Alan Brown, Grandson of Naomi Brown – Subdivider II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE FOLLOWING MEETING: A. JUNE 12, 2007 Motion was made by Gary Orr and seconded by Jackie Lammert to approve the minutes of June 12, 2007 as submitted. Motion carried 5-0. III. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF BROWN ESTATES, BEING A PLAT OF A TRACT CONTAINING 54,109 SQ FT OR 1.2422 ACRES OUT OF THE JOHN D. TAYLOR SURVEY, ABS. NO 72, SAID TRACT BEING A COMPOSITE OF TRACT 1 & TRACT 2 OF THE NAOMI HARRISON BROWN TRACT BEING RECORDED IN HARRIS COUNTY CLERK FILE NO R824650 OF THE DEED RECORDS, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. Steve Smith was asked to review the prior history of the lots on Blalock Lane. He explained that all the lots with the exception of 11625 and 11635 front on a public street. Motion was made by Gary Orr and seconded by Al Augustine to approve the preliminary plat subject to the following items being corrected. ● Indicate the front of the lot on the plat; ● Wording on the plat does not indicate that it is preliminary ● Correct the spelling on the fifth paragraph – with to width; and ● Correct the square footage After discussion, the motion carried 5-0. IV. V. ADJOURN. There being no further business, Vice Chairman Bob Croyle announced the meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
