I.    PUBLIC HEARING

TO RECEIVE COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC, EITHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, REGARDING THE PROPOSED 2008 TAX RATE TO SUPPORT THE 2009 BUDGET.

Mayor Pro Tem Dave Ellis called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 11977 Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas.

There was no one in the audience therefore there were no comments.  Motion was made by Councilman Brown and seconded by Councilman Smyre to adjourn the meeting at 5:05 p.m.  Motion carried 4-0. 

Approved and accepted on October 21, 2008.
